Description
The shape works for either. Wood firing did the coloring here: ash and flame moved through the kiln over days and landed where they landed, so the surface is not something painted on afterward. A little gold luster marks the rim. Every wood fired piece comes out different. Use it daily. It will not mind.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
