Two handles, a wide belly, and a shape built to hold a real armful of branches.
Size
8" tall · 8.75" wide at handles · 3.5" opening
Description
The color across it came from the wood kiln, where flame and ash moved through over days and landed where they landed, doing the work a glaze usually does. It takes a real cluster of stems, not one lonely flower. Carry it by the handles. It was thrown to be picked up, not just looked at. One of a kind, because the kiln made it that way.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
